Opportunity (record)

Neoproterozoic Katangan-equivalent cover sequence stretching 1,200km from western DRC through Angola into Republic of Congo. Dikulushi (Cu-Ag) and Kipushi (Zn-Cu-Ge) are the only developed deposits in a belt with the same host stratigraphy as the Lufilian Arc but lower metamorphic grade. Less than 15% of the belt has modern geophysical coverage. The vanadium association (V-bearing black shales) adds critical mineral potential absent in the Lufilian Arc.

Province attribution is stated on every asset record (the p field) — record-stated classification, no text inference. Whether record-stated platform classifications carry the formal Sourced label is an open editorial ruling; this page does not claim it. Contrast the country pages, where attribution requires the record to say so.
